Grp Fibreglass
Grp is a high quality flat roofing material, it looks modern, has a very nice finish and provides many years problem free flat roof. All our Grp roofs are re-boarded with 18mm Osb3 sterling boards, correctly prepared and bandaged with fibreglass strips, 450Gsm matting and a top coat, with correct trims and fitting technique. (Top coat can be a colour of you’re choice, the moest popular are Dark Gray that looks like new bossed lead and Light Gray that resembles seasoned Lead)
We are also approved installers with Cromar products and can give a 25Yr manufactures warranty along with our standard 10yr Guarantee, with a life span of upto 50yrs once your roof has been replaced you will have many many years trouble free flat roof.
Grp is less expensive than you may think and is far better than tradition felt – From £390 – 490 for a standard Bay top, including use of our own Scaffold and removal of any left over waste and a 10yr written guarantee.
Epdm Rubber
A decent system as its really flexible, good for square roofs as its ordered direct from Firestone Epdm, It is very wasteful on awkward shaped roofs as it can only be ordered in square sheets. We use the Extra thick fleece backed Epdm as apposed to the cheap Diy 3mm Epdm.
Torch on Felt
We use a 3 layer torch on felt system, the first one is a primer layer, the 2nd is a 4mm underlay felt layer and the 3rd is the mineral layer.
Lead
We use both Bossing technique and lead welding.
